Congratulations to everyone. Go read the blogs and see why they won. Also read the other nominated blogs and read some other blogs to come up with some more blogs to nominate next year. There is no shortage of good reading.

Thank you again to The Fire Critic, EMS1.com, and FireRescue1.com for running the contest.
.
Rogue Medic got beat by a blog of short stories about calls. I guess the readers aren’t fans of looking at addressing issues and expanding their education in a field they likely work in. Maybe next year Rogue Medic. At least you were nominated…
Daniel Jones,
There is nothing wrong with having the winner be a blog that focuses on the emotional aspects of EMS.
Congratulations to Insomniac Medic.
Besides, I voted for EMS 12 Lead, which did win the Judges Choice for Blog of the Year.
I agree as the emotional aspects are still important and I voted twice… Once for EMS 12 Lead and once for you.
As you stated, congratulations to http://insomniacmedic.com/
I guess the point of my post was that I wish the issues of EMS would be acknowledged more. People like you willing to voice issues publicly to all are necessary for changes to be made.
Congratulations again to http://insomniacmedic.com/ and http://ems12lead.com/ !
Daniel Jones,
Thank you.
I read a lot of fiction, in addition to all of the research I read. I am sometimes not in the mood for one, or for the other. Both have their place. It should not be an either/or proposition.
It is important that we care about our patients and stories that help to put is in the place of someone making difficult decisions and dealing with the consequences are important.
Thank you again.
